What is love?

Often, people say that it is the feeling that makes you happy and want to be around someone. However, that is a misconception that has led many to rush headlong into a marriage and filing a divorce just as quickly. This is romantic love – superficial and temporary.
However, if you want true love, someone in the bible showed the best example of that – Jesus dying on the cross for our sins. That is agape love – sacrificial love. Thus, true love is a decision to show care and compassion to a person unconditionally, whether or not that person has done you wrong.
You see, Jesus has set the bar so high that you can hardly find a person of this kind. Truthfully, Jesus is all you ever need. When you put God first in your life, everything else falls into place. Regarding relationships, seek God-fearing people who put Him first. People who follow God/Christ and bear good fruits are truly blessings.
Seek God first; you can’t go wrong.
