2 things I want to talk about today: Transformers Prime and other opening credits A Korean drama VS Power Rangers? I've noticed that the cartoon openings I like usually have Jeff Kline, Richard Raynis and Duane Capizzi in the credits somehow. I've been seeing their names at the end of a number of my favourite cartoons since childhood (e.g. Jackie Chan Adventures, Extreme Ghostbusters, Men In Black: The Animated Series, Roughnecks: The Starship Troopers Chronicles, Godzilla: The Series and more recently G.I. Joe: Renegades and Transformers: Prime). So I just wanna take my hats off to these hardworking people and thank them for giving me awesome childhood memories. Next up, I'll be comparing a certain character from a Korean drama called 찬란한 유산 / Chanranhan Yusan (a.k.a. Shining Inheritance / Brilliant Legacy / Beautiful Legacy) to a Power Ranger. Striking imperial villains in the gong - Dong Yi

Never have I cheered so much for the hero since the Power Rangers... until now. Dong Yi is a Korean drama that I'm currently into. It is about a clueless king, a wise servant and a conspiracy by the villains to overthrow the queen. The main villains, the king's concubine (a.k.a. 2nd wife) and her brother (a high-ranking official) frames the queen and eventually gets her banished. Dong Yi, a lowly servant, catches wind of the conspiracy and conducts her own private investigation, only to find evidence of foul play. The villains find out, which sparks off a wild goose chase to kill Dong Yi, leading to a series of "unfortunate events". Throw in a forbidden romance, chance or fate, and it becomes  the  story of a lifetime. What I find awesome is how Dong Yi's friends break the rules and risk their lives to help Dong Yi in her quest to right the wrong. That goes to show that no man (or woman) is an is...
