This is a fantastic introductory video to organising your life. I have picked up some of these tips over the years through trial and error, which I wished had been taught to me beyond just the partially helpful "write it down in your notebook" reminders. While I don't use most of these apps, I would highly recommend using a digital calendar, task (to-do) list, and a digital storage drive for a start. How I use my calendar and task list Read e-mails once a day and use the 1-touch rule . You have to make a decision the moment you open it: reply to it, archive (for information), do the task or add it to your task list (for things that take 5 min or less to complete), schedule an event in a calendar (for things that take longer than 5 min to do) Managing events: I colour code my events (' red ' for important work, fun colours for recreational activities) and set default 1-day, 3h and 15 min prior push notifications to remind me of them.
