Here are some scenes that packed X-men DoFP with incredibly emotional punches and encouraged me to never give up hope even in dire situations. Logan: I don't know how long I've got here, but I do know that a long time ago, actually, a long time from now, I was your most helpless student, and you unlocked my mind. You showed me what I was, you showed me what I can be. Charles Xavier: Just because someone stumbles, loses their way, it doesn't mean they're lost forever. Sometimes we all need a little help.

These past weeks have been a major throwback to Mulan's training montage. My assignments have been brutal but I hope I'm taking them in stride. I think I've been binge-eating comfort food as a result. (Am I the only one who occasionally nibbles on crumbs of sugar, salt and cheese?) Anyway, back on the topic of leadership. Behind the success of a great team is a noble captain, one who leads by example and assumes full responsibility for the team's development and performance, never blame-shifting when things go wrong. Although Shang was exasperated by the team's initial lack of skill, he rolled with the punches and successfully got his team physically and mentally fit to complete the mission. On a sidenote, while I am happy that Disney's Mulan (2020) is in the makes, I am nervous about the removal of some characters and introduction of new ones. So does this invalidate the Disney canon of Mulan (1998)? I hope not.

Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that." - Martin Luther King Jr. So I just watched a truly encouraging and motivating film called 'Woodlawn'. The theme? Agape love. The answer which could potentially solve almost all of the world's problems sounds simple enough, but it directly opposes the rules of this world. Forgiving and loving your enemies may be difficult, but after seeing this film, the hope of seeing a multitude of all nations of the world (including changed enemies) united in Christ is really something to look forward to.

Remember that? Remember how the Black Widow out smarted a god? Remember that time she kept her shit together when the Hulk attacked her, even though she was really scared? Remember when she knocked an alien off his flying scooter and figured out how to drive it despite it being extrateresstrial tech, then got her ass up to the top of Stark Tower, found Loki’s staff and saved the world from being invaded by turning off the tesseract?   Remember how she was the central character of the whole freaking movie?

Make sure you’ve seen the movie first before you read this. Mind: Blown. It always bugged me that Loki was so careless about drawing the Hulk out, knowing full well he could be beaten by the creature. This is just…ahhh. AHHH.
