After a week-long Galactik Football marathon, I am finally done with GF season 2. And it was one awesome ride. I've started on season 3 but it seems like it's going to be a rocky road for the Snow Kids with many changes in store. And I mean many . The spoilers may ruin your GF experience. The good news is that there have been speculations of season 4 coming up in 2011 or 2012. Yay for now! Meanwhile, I'm going back to watching The Zeta Project after a long hiatus. The Zeta Project is a great show and a spin-off from the DC Comics series Batman Beyond, chronicles the futuristic adventures of Zeta (voiced by Diedrich Bader of The Batman), a renegade government-designed robot, and Ro (voiced by Julie Nathanson of Speed Racer), a streetwise 15-year-old delinquent in the year 2040. Boy, do I feel stupid for not knowing that Galactik Football is already into season 3. And here I was thinking that winning the Galactik Football Cup was it. My favourite characters: Tia (soon to be off this list and replaced by Yuki) Micro-Ice (the cool dude who tries too hard to impress) Thran & Ahito (the inseparable brothers which include a sleepy goalkeeper) << Warning: Spoilers >> Unfortunately, as season 1 progressed, I started liking Tia less. Recently, I kinda realised that she sounds suspiciously like Aelita (Code Lyoko), which might explain the growing dislike. Not to mention the Rocket/Tia thing going on. Bleh. What happened to the tough, independent Tia we once knew? As for D'Jok and Mei, they're still as annoying as ever strangely, their attitude has changed and they are beginning to grow on me. Oban Star-Racers Ok, the first time I saw the commercial of Oban Star-Racers on Kids Central's Flux!, I wasn't blown away. In fact, I disliked the graphics - the characters had no noses, for crying out loud! But I decided to give the show a chance anyway. The story was a little boring, and I'm not exactly into sci-fi and fantasy genres, but it got better as the races began and characters like Jordan & Aika (is that how his name is spelt?) were introduced. The ending was somewhat disappointing. I would have expected a tougher battle with the ultimate villain than such a simple way to end it. Jordan's sacrifice was the saddest part. The finale would have been cooler had Eva/Molly or Aika become the Avatar. I mean, Jordan isn't exactly Avatar material, and I actually wanted him to end up with Eva/Molly.
