If you watch Code Lyoko , then you'd understand when I say, "Getting de-virtualized ain't always a bad thing." For Aelita, it's a miracle to be free from Lyoko. Once you're out of Lyoko, you're not bound by its rules and limitations unless Xana somehow manages to infect you with a virus or keep you linked to Lyoko so that you go down with it. Likewise, the earth is like Lyoko. The evils of this world are controlled by Xana. Although Xana throws obstacles in my way, God always blesses me with a way out. And from all the disasters happening in this world, I think we all know that life is a vacuum cleaner. Although Xana recently tried to put me down, hoping that it would faze me, I am happy to say at the end of the torment, finding out what happened to Ulrich and Yumi was more important. End of the Week Rant (Skip this section if you wish) The past week, I had been unintentionally giving people scares with sudden appearances, sudden disappearances, sudden appearance around the corner, sudden appearance of things, etc. It seems my power of invisibility grows stronger each day. In the beginning there was me and Mum and Dad and the twins. And good luck was upon us and things were great and talk about happy families, we were bountiful. But it came to pass that I started doing sins. And lo, that's when all our problems began. The cover and the synopsis made me think that it was going to be some creepy evil child story. But then as I read the story, I felt sympathy for everything Grace had to go through to save her family from their staunchly "religious" community. Grace's father has been of bulk positive influence on Grace and has raised her to be a creative thinker and to question the religious practices of their exclusive church. I had the feeling deep in my gut that there'd been lines I should have spoken, gestures I should have made, that would have made things better. But looking back, I didn't know what they were. As a friend, I was pretty much useless, apparently. - "Give Up the Ghost" by Megan Crewe, pg 165 I'm currently reading this book which is like a high school version of Ghost Whisperer. It might probably be better than Ghost Whisperer if you prefer reading about loners, gossips, jocks, cliques, etc. rather than family drama of the Touched-by-an-Angel kind. Not suitable for readers below 16 . What I like about this book is that the story dives into the immediate situation without having to start right from the beginning before Cass gets her ability. Cass McKenna is a loner who prefers ghosts over "breathers". Her sister died 4 years ago and somehow Cass still sees her. She has been ostracized and bullied in school. Finally. Now's the time to catch up on everything I've missed for the past weeks. And right after all that happiness, I watch Sym-Bionic Titan episode 20 and find out that that's the last episode. Word has it that it had been  cancelled because it had no tie-in merchandise to profit from. What?! Aurgh, there goes another good series. Please, if you can revive like the great Octus , that would be awesome. ~*~ Moving on, I watched G.I. Joe Renegades episode 18. Great to see some questions from the previous episodes being answered about the fate of the brothers of light. Top-notch work from Snake Eyes and great Tunnel Rat quips, as usual. VIP (upon seeing Tunnel Rat): ... My Mandarin is rusty... Ni hao ma? (incomprehensible Chinglish gibberish) Tunnel Rat: Whoa, what's with the racial? Just because I look Chinese doesn't mean I speak it. Hah, T-Rat, nice one. You remind me of the Karate Kid "Ni hao mao?" plane scene. At least the VIP got that line right...

Polling Day is just round the corner and I'm really excited to vote for the first time and be a part of history in the making. Now, the big question for my district is: Which of Thor's weapons is more powerful? His hammer or his lightning powers? Let me digress... Ever since The Avengers got a reboot with its Earth's Mightiest Heroes animated series, I've been reacquainted with its team members and have a newfound liking towards Thor (Old English and all), besides my favourites Clint and the Hulk. Clint, Tigra, Falcon, Ant-man & Wasp were my favourites in the United We Stand series (West Coast Avengers). The new series has revived The Avengers once again, but has also resulted in a frustratingly annoying version of Ant-man and Wasp.
