I used to watch Roswell when I was a kid, but never got to finish the series due to its weird air times - around 1 pm or so on school days, if I recall correctly, which to me is the second worst air time after late night timeslots. Anyway, thanks to Roswell, I found out about Katherine Heigl. And I decided to give Grey's Anatomy a go when it premiered because I recognised a familiar face. After recently stumbling upon the opening credits of Roswell on YouTube, I spotted Adam Rodriguez (CSI: Miami). No wonder he looked really familiar when I first saw him on CSI: Miami. The opening credits also has a lovely song called "Here With Me" by Dido, which I still like till today. Roswell is like The OC meets Smallville. My house is like an old dumpster. You can find little "surprises" here and there. You'll never know what you're gonna find. There's this set of speakers that has been sitting around in the house for some time. It doesn't work, but nobody else wants it. But there's something about it that brings back the nostalgia. Went out with my friend today. She wanted to do some shopping, and in the end, we did - window shopping. It's kinda funny because we're polar opposites when it comes to shopping. She goes for the wants, I go for the needs. But at least we can both agree on one thing - we're very picky. So much so that we can take a long time to select the right thing and we end up not buying anything, which is good for our pockets. I'll take that as good training for resisting temptation. These are the questions I ask myself when selecting the right product: Is this the item you need? If you went shopping for ________, then why are you looking at _ *insert unrelated good*_ ? Is it within your budget? (Sidenote: Personally, I find that carrying very little cash with you really helps to cut down on spending. Don't bring your credit cards either. After a week-long Galactik Football marathon, I am finally done with GF season 2. And it was one awesome ride. I've started on season 3 but it seems like it's going to be a rocky road for the Snow Kids with many changes in store. And I mean many . The spoilers may ruin your GF experience. The good news is that there have been speculations of season 4 coming up in 2011 or 2012. Yay for now! Why the sudden change of colours? Because someone had to introduce me to Blackle. So I figured it might be worth the shot to save some energy and reduce the glare from your screen. I think the winner is pretty obvious. Need a hint? It is the one with an older history, clever lines and spunkier characters. Please don't say Winx Club. There was a point in time when I used to like Winx (only because of Tecna, Brandon & Musa), but even then, I feared that it would go the way of becoming a matchmaking sorority filled with girly girls. And eventually, it did. It didn't help that I disapproved of most of the pairings. That made me sick and tired of it. Having more than one season was one too many. Boy, do I feel stupid for not knowing that Galactik Football is already into season 3. And here I was thinking that winning the Galactik Football Cup was it. I've uploaded some scans from a new Nintendo 3DS game brochure I picked up along the way home. It is the definition of adorable. I've edited some of them into wallpapers and banners, so go crazy with them, but please leave the nintendogs logo on them because the pictures belong to their respective creators, not me .

I was looking through my picture stash and found this. Today my friend and I were buying tickets to a movie. And the great thing about being a student is... the discounted price on weekdays - all $6 of it. So when the counter staff asked for our student passes, we were like this: It's good to be a student.

I really miss this show, even though it was cancelled after 2 seasons with a total of 19 episodes - sad, I know - and was like the comical version of The X-Files. You know what's even more sad? The fandom's so small, it's almost dead. I liked it more for the character interactions and lame, sarcastic jokes that Nick O'Malley (played by Michael Landes, who also starred in Final Destination 2) says with a straight face and deadpan voice, only to top it off with a wicked grin at the end. In fact, I see a slight resemblance to Dean (Supernatural). One "happy" family: Papa Nick O'Malley, mama Kate Benson, and little baby Carl. During a bible study session last Sunday, we were having a discussion about John Chapter 6 (NIV) and why Jesus spoke in tough metaphors that sounded blasphemous and provoked many of his disciples to desert Him. And I suddenly had these thoughts (which I decided to share here): In the TV series “Supernatural“, there were times when angels were sent on missions to prevent certain events from happening or to make certain events happen. Even Dean had experienced being sent back into the past. And when he tried to warn the victim from impending danger, people thought he was crazy. Jesus knew the future. He knew what was coming. So whenever Jesus said something, it is possible that He could have told the truth to build up opposition that would eventually lead to the crucifixion. If Jesus really was after fame and glory, why would he say things that would turn people away from Him? It could have been a test to separate the true believers from those who were seeking to benefit from Him. Afte...

Bleh, I get tongue-tied whenever I have to speak my mind. When I'm forced to put my thoughts into words, they somehow get scrambled on the way out till no one gets what I'm saying. Sometimes, I wish I was telepath. That way, when people ask me "How are you?" I can just send them images of what I've been through.

Word of the day. I was watching Soul Eater episodes 40 & 41 and felt sorry for Professor Stein and his predicament. Later, I watched Supernatural Season 3 episode 11 and was completely torn up inside. Seriously, people like Stein, Dean & Sam are unfortunate victims of total mind-warp. Reality is screwed up. Hope they choose the right path in their fight against destiny. To be honest, I empathise with Dean, because we are alike in a couple of ways: Oldest = huge responsibility over siblings and as a role model Raised by parents to take over as breadwinner => Failure is not an option; expected to become a survival machine a.k.a. robot that does everything right. Personality = Introvert; puts up a front that doesn't fear death and wants to enjoy life. Have siblings who, like Sam, want me to give a damn and grow up. I had been meaning to watch Supernatural: The Animation and finally got round to watching it yesterday. It was a pity that only Jared (actor of Sam) did the voice acting, and not Jensen (Dean). The character design of Dean irked me because he did not look like Dean at all and was drawn so strangely that it was distracting. (He looked like a maniac/pervert. Not that he isn't one. But the character designs were not fully justifiable and could not capture Sam & Dean's awesome looks.) I switched between Eng dub and Jap dub several times before deciding that both were decently acceptable. The original's still way better. << External links warning: Horror, violence and gore.
