The Evolution of ThunderStorm ⚡️

ThunderStorm’s journey began back in 2004 as a passion project on the (now legacy) Geocities platform. What started as a tribute to iconic series like Power Rangers and SOF (Soldier of Fortune Inc. / Special Ops Force) has since evolved into something much greater. 🚀

Fun fact: My original alias, m_m2br_n4d_cjc, was inspired by my favorite SOF characters. It was a complex, unique identifier that served me well throughout my academic years—and kept my inbox remarkably spam-free! 📧

The name "ThunderStorm" itself was born from the Ninja Storm & Dino Thunder eras of Power Rangers. Over time, it has come to represent the resilience needed to navigate the "looming storms" and challenges we all face in life and business. The name stuck because the mission remains the same: weathering the storm and coming out stronger on the other side. 💪✨

In 2005, team S.P.D was so awesome that I participated actively in RangerBoard and submitted two banners for an RB contest.

The end of Geocities was a major turning point and ThunderStorm was forced to migrate to a free forum hosting space, Proboards and evolved into a personal diary, blog and forum. While ProBoards offered great customisations, it made ThunderStorm a segregated forum which did not fully optimize the space. It was especially hard to categorise multi-category posts. Eventually, ThunderStorm moved here. 🚀

Over time, ThunderStorm expanded to include cartoons, animes, TV shows and topics such as books and movies.📚🎬

A/N: I'm keeping my dormant PB forum for now, but it will serve a different purpose in the future.
