Power Rangers (All seasons)
Power Rangers is a series I have grown up with since it first aired on TV. While I may not be as obsessed about it as I was back in the old days, I still love it for it's simplistic good VS evil concept & all the important values taught through each episode that have nurtured my character.
It all started with the series that sparked my interest in PR...

Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers (Seasons 1 - 3)
Looking back, I feel kinda stupid for being fooled by the stereotypical characters and poor quality special effects, but hey, I was just a kid. I actually cried when their zords were permanently destroyed (Kimberly was distraught) and cheered for them during zord battles. Like many other little girls, we all looked up to Kimberly, the pink ranger, for being pretty. Of course, growing up made me realise that she wasn't all that great. Instead of Jason, she decided to choose Tommy, leading to many episodes where my parents had to cover my eyes (and I peeked). And where I started off my PR collection.
Anyway, I was so upset about Thuy's death and Kimberly leaving.
Mighty Morphin' Alien Rangers (2nd half of Season 3)
This mini-series disappointed me with the sudden introduction of the aliens and the side-lining of the current group of rangers by their transformation into kids. But the kids were cute, except for Rocky & Tommy. (Those ponytails gotta go.)
Zeo Rangers
I couldn't catch most of the season because of additional weekend enrichment classes in the morning, but somehow found out about what happened in between. I didn't like half the characters, except Adam, Billy and Rocky. It was great to see Jason returning as the gold ranger (Trey was pretty cool too). When Billy left Earth for good, I was devastated, because he was one of the few remaining characters that I liked. (Rocky's departure in Turbo was the last straw.) Anyway, I knew Tommy & Kimberly weren't meant to be. Kinda pitied Tommy when Kimberly dumped him for another guy - not Jason, but I'll take it that she lied. Well, Tommy's got Cat now. (At least Cat got what she wanted.) LOL @ *VR Trooper girl.
*Sidenote: Anyone remember those forgotten PR-wannabe series like VR Troopers, Tattoo Teenage Alien Fighters? They're like the American version of Singapore's "VR Man", only better. I'm also reminded of Big Bad Beetleborgs & Beetleborgs: Metallix. It's like a group of Justin rangers.

Power Rangers Turbo
I know that Rocky injured his leg, but why did they have to replace him with Justin (notorious for being the only kid ranger ever)? Most of the characters carried over from Zeo were horrible (except for Adam), but were thankfully replaced with a fresh group of faces halfway through the season. Tommy's been a ranger for far too long.
Note: Didn't like how Saban treated the cast though. They were planning to fire the main cast without prior notice and replace them with cheaper alternatives. I actually liked "Ashley", until I found out that she got the part by hooking up with "Adam", leeching off and then dumping him. *Sigh* So much drama... Not how you would picture what goes on offscreen in a kid's show, right? Then you should read up on Hi-5 too. (Nathan & Kellie, you make me cry.)

Power Rangers In Space
This is by far one of the best seasons. Great characters who carried on where they left off from Turbo to chase the villain, Divatox, into space. Awesome plot development from start to end. Astronema, Darkonda & Ecliptor were hands-down some of the best villains in PR history. The most epic event occurred in this season that changed the course of PR history forever - Zordon's sacrifice.
Power Rangers Lost Galaxy
This season marked the entry into the post-Zordon era, where new space tech allowed the creation of the Terra Venture - a huge "planet"-like spaceship. The people were offered a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to find a new world to live in, but at a cost - either death or never seeing Earth again. However, the show got a little boring as it progressed into the pirate villain arc. The team-up leading to the inclusion of Karone a.k.a. Astronema revived the show once more, but it wasn't as good as when Lost Galaxy started.
Trivia: Archie Kao a.k.a. Kai has a recurring role in CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.
Plot continuity pretty much ended here and the later seasons became separate unrelated teams. Team-ups were thrown in as tributes to the past rangers. Click below to read about the other seasons.

Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue
This is one yucky season. The characters were great but had no chemistry whatsoever, with the exception of that between Chad and Kelsey in the finale, though I didn't really like Kelsey. There was mainly average acting from the cast but Chad & Joel were slightly better. (Joel was hilarious!
) Carter and Dana are examples of emotionless acting. The inclusion of Ryan was good but I was disappointed by his lack of screentime and lack of usefulness to the rangers. Nonetheless, I enjoyed the team-up and the final few episodes.
Power Rangers Time Force
This is one of my favourite seasons. Wes, Eric & Jen are some of the most well-developed characters I have ever seen, though at the expense of the other characters' screentime. Eric's stunts were impressively done by the actor Daniel Southworth himself. Lucas, Trip & Katie's chemistry was great. The story plots were interesting, with the exception of the many filler episodes.
Power Rangers Wild Force
Yucks. Bad acting (courtesy of most of the characters, especially Cole), bad plot. However, it was great to see the previous red rangers on "Forever Red" and the Time Force characters in the team-up. The last 2 episodes were great, though.
Power Rangers Ninja Storm
Interesting characters but awfully dumb villains (though they got better towards the finale when the backstabbing started). The Shane/Dustin/Tori VS Hunter/Blake dynamic was great. Cam & Sensei are awesome. Overall, it's a season to remember.
Power Rangers Dino Thunder
Good season, but I would've preferred to see a new face rather than Tommy, who's unfortunately past due date. Well, at least Tommy's appearance linked the show back to its roots. The "Legacy Of Power" episode was one heck of a tribute to the past 500 episodes of PR. Kira and Mesogog/Anton Mercer were the saving grace of the show amidst stereotypical characters such as the jock, Conner, who redeemed himself with impressive maturity in the DT-SPD team-up. A great season on the whole.
Power Rangers Space Patrol Delta
This is the season with the perfect main cast/characters but unfortunately lacked the story plot and good villains to match. The characters interacted very well with each other and the season started off great but deteriorated as it progressed, partly due to the introduction of lightball Sam, Morgana & the sudden appearance of Isynia. Nonetheless, the show kicked off with a bang and ended with one. (LOL @ 1 sec human appearance of Nova & Sam
)
Note that the episode titles from this season stuck to a one-word title rule. The following seasons then followed two-word, then 3, then 4-word rules. This was one of Bruce Kalish's "great" ideas to mark each season he worked on, SPD being the 1st Power Ranger season in which he took the reins.
Power Rangers Mystic Force
This season sucked with bad acting and bad plots. Madison and Xander were the saving grace of the show, unfortunately they weren't able to make up for bad acting from Nick & Vida. Udonna, Daggeron & Leanbow didn't really help the show much. I don't mean to be age-ist, but I still find really old rangers (& kid rangers *cough*Justin*cough*) weird. (I'll forgive Doggie & Kat because they rock. Thank goodness Mack took Prof. Hartford's morpher.) Didn't Alpha 5 (MMPR) make it clear that he wanted "teenagers with attitude"?
Power Rangers Operation Overdrive
Characters like Mack, Rose & Spencer were great, but Prof. Hartford, Dax, Will & Ty fell flat. Ronnie was alright, but not spectacular. In this season, Mack was made the star of the show, with most of the episodes about him, but that's what made it boring. It was always about him. I would have liked to see the other characters, especially Rose & Spencer, have more screen time and character development. A real disappointment. Somehow, this season can be described as the Pinocchio story.
Power Rangers Jungle Fury
The Ninja Storm and Wild Force premise bored me, but the interaction between Casey, Theo & Lily was great. R.J. is a rather unique mentor. I like his zen aura. He may have a strange way of thinking, but with good intentions, which is cool. Didn't like Dom at first glance, but he grew on me. Awesome finale, anyway.
RPM is one of the better seasons since SPD with some obvious changes - removal of ending theme to allow more screentime, great cast, witty lines and references. I especially like Flynn, Ziggy, Gem & Gemma! With the cast's great acting, what more could you ask for?
Power Rangers Samurai (Season 1)
This season marks the reboot of the Saban era. Off to a rocky start, Saban has indeed delivered what it promised - cheesiness that dates back to MMPR days. The opening theme isn't fantastic, but the familiar tune gives a nod to MMPR. In the 1st episode, the rangers' acting wasn't up to par to pull it off. None of the characters actually appealed to me. Red (Jayden) had an aloof-know-it-all demeanor and it doesn't help that he looks like a Justin Bieber wannabe. There is something off about the characters - they're too goody-goody. I'm sorry, but MMPR's goody-goody characters may have worked then, but this doesn't work now, because it would be too two-dimensional to have characters without some flaw in their personality. Some episodes show some promise, but are barely passable. With time, I hope the rangers will improve their acting and reveal a flaw in their character. Take some hints from the character interactions in theJustice League or Young Justice series Time Force, SPD & RPM series. On the upside, Bulk is back, and Felix may just be the next Skull with an annoying high-pitched laugh. Would be cooler if Skull was back, though. At the moment, Green (Mike) is the only one who can act, which does not bode well.
Power Rangers Super Samurai (Season 2)
I could name many other seasons that deserve a 2nd season. This one is not one of them.
Power Rangers Megaforce
Why rehash MMPR just to get away with lazy scriptwriting?
