Voltron LD Seasons 1

So I've caught up on the latest eps up to season 5 and I'm left with so many questions. *Spoiler alert for seasons 1 - 5*

Some thoughts and questions I'm left with:

Is Lotor really good now? Or does he have some sort of hidden agenda to make use of the lions? So Lotura ship is sailing huh? *shivers*
When is Hunk going to get decent character development? He doesn't have to change sides to get CD, but maybe an upgrade in engineering expertise, some lesson learnt or something about his family?
Lance & Pidge, you're doing great! It would be nice to see an episode on how Matt and Dad spent their missing years and perhaps how significantly it contributed to the war efforts. Lance is probably going to go the Sokka route. Pidge seems to have a Toph route ahead (tough route, get it? XD).
Emo Keith looks set up to discover more about Mum. Who is his most-likely-human Dad? Why hasn't Mum tried contacting him or informing him through his caregivers though? Or did they die? *Dun dun dun* That would be brutal.
I've been seeing all the Kuron Shiro conspiracies online. It seems plausible to some extent, but it might be a let down if it does turn out to be true, because that will negate all that Shiro is currently doing for the team. Anyway, I noticed that Zarkon's demise at the hands on Lotor seemed rather suspicious. Could Shiro and Zarkon's subconscious minds have been swapped after the battle? It kinda explains why the bayard returned to Shiro's handling form just after Zarkon's body died. Maybe Shiro sacrificed himself so that Zarkon could be defeated. I also think that Shiro's body is in fact himself but perhaps due to "Freaky Friday", Zarkon's subconscious mind is trapped in Shiro and so Haggar is able to track their whereabouts and get intel on them through Zarkon's energy. When using the lion, Shiro probably blacks out because Zarkon and the black lion are currently incompatible. However, since Zarkon's body is dead, Shiro is now stuck in the subconscious realm but his subconscience is able to connect with the black lion on the subconscious level and pilot it. So all the team has to do now is expel Zarkon's subconscience or maybe Shiro has to battle him for his body. Well, it all sounds crazy... almost like a Doctor Strange story. I'd better rewatch that last battle before Shiro's disappearance before I get ahead of myself.
Coran could use a technical upgrade.
Allura, or perhaps Lotor, if he turns good, seems to have a chance to pilot the white lion? Is it even a Voltron lion? I'm getting flashbacks of Tommy the white ranger. So if Allura gets white, Lance can return to blue, Keith gets red back, Shiro can get black back. Now that would be an awesome reunion for all: a return to their origins, but all better people.

Season 6 is in June?! How is it possible that I'm experiencing withdrawal symptoms from Voltron?! This stuff is potent. Dang quiznak.
