Some may have joined the Survivor party late, but I'm sure many are aware of this reality TV show by Mark Burnett that changed the course of TV history.

I hopped on the Survivor bandwagon towards the end of season 1, hating on Richard and supporting goody-goody Colleen Haskell. I was really into the Australian outback season, supporting the Kucha tribe and specifically, nice girl Elisabeth Filarski. Michael Skupin was an awesome leader.

As a kid, Survivor had opened my eyes to the harsh reality of this corrupted world. It's every person for himself. The strategies used to get to the top worsened as seasons passed. All the gossip and slander took its toll on me. The last straw was the season in which a certain backstabber lied that his grandma had passed away. I had given up hope on the pathetic hind-saving humans.
Thank God for Rupert and the few morally upright players who worked hard to earn their place, rather than backstab their way to the top. They are the true heroes who give hope that people have the ability to do good.
So why watch this show when we've seen enough in the workplace?
