Painful Farewell - Hana-Kimi

Disclaimer: This post refers to the original Hana-Kimi (Japanese) version, not the 2011 version.

What a bittersweet farewell. It made me so teary and snotty. I love it that the whole school is like one big extended family despite the small population and the ridiculous inter-dorm competitions. The characters are so ridiculous that they seem to grow on me.

My favourite characters:

Nakatsu: The best friend that Ashiya should have ended up with. His action-thoughtspeak is awesome.
The aura guy: The calm and thoughtful one (whose actor also happens to play Tamaki in OHSHC, who has a completely opposite personality. Great actor.)
Nanba-senpai: (Who also acted in Zettai Kareshi!)
Gosh, I almost forgot about the school doctor and...

My favourite shippy moment:

Obviously a Nakatsu/Mizuki one a.k.a. the confession. I'm a sucker for best friends-turned-couples.

Finally, why do I love Japan so? Because of this.
