A Tale of a Fail

We all have those kind of days where we just mess up big time and make complete fools of ourselves. Take today for example: I spent an hour browsing and selecting books at a sale only to realise, to my horror, that I had left my wallet at home. I declined to buy the books just as the cashier checked the books out, much to her amusement, and I slipped away in morbid embarrassment. Guess what? It's happened several times before, and I wonder if others pity me for being broke.

It wasn't a complete loss, though. I had fun reading the books and getting absorbed into realm after realm. The best thing is that I can sit back and laugh at myself on hindsight. So failing ain't that bad after all. (And this is a sign that I've been watching too many Fails of the Week videos on YouTube.)

Don't be afraid to fail. Learn to accept it and move on.

Now look at the Level E screencap below and laugh:

You know you are.
