Yay! It's FMA Day!

After the long and exhausting hours of alchemic research and preparation, brothers Ed & Al tried to transmute their mother, failed and lost a part of themselves to the gate. For Ed, what was more horrific was losing his brother Al, sacrificing an arm in exchange for affixing Al's soul to a metal armour suit and living to face the guilt of dragging his brother into this mess of a situation. After bouts of depression, tough love and encouragement of others, Ed & Al decide to pull themselves out of the rut, burn down their house and embark on a long journey in search of their hope of regaining their bodies - the philosopher's stone.

3 Oct '11 - the day Ed & Al burnt their house down and made a promise to carry on.

I just love it that FMA is a touching story of brotherhood, sacrifice, loss, redemption, friendship, love, sin and war, a story of lives intertwining. It's great how the brothers matured as they learn to see past themselves and think of others.
